Spotlight: Southwest Style

Prints are personal to each individual and one of my favorites happens to be the American-Indian inspired pattern. I am always intrigued by the unique design configurations, bold color combinations, creative textures and crafty accents. Thankfully the tribal motif is a huge trend right now. Check out some of the Navajo print pieces I’ve picked out of my collection.

  1. Southwestern Sweaters & Apparel– A standout mix of color, texture and pattern creates an outfit with a ‘South of the Border’ feel.

I found this vintage vest in my grandparents house. The crochet suede vest was aunt’s growing up and I have gave it new life.

2. Ancestral Accessories – Natural materials such as suede and fringe to add an unexpected element to your look.

One of my favorite belts is a colorful southwestern rug reconstructed into a belt with aged-old leather.

3. Fun & unique jewelry – Vintage metals, feathers and ‘symbolic sacred beings’ are the perfect finishing touch. Natural stones, bone and beads add an earthy accent.

Are you embracing your Southwestern style this season? Happy Saturday!
