It’s mid-January and the snow is finally falling here in Chicago…so what better way to dress then head-to-toe in sweaters. I’m obsessed with all things patchwork (which you will soon see in an upcoming blog) so it’s no wonder why I am still in love with my Urban Renewal sweater skirt I have had for years.
The pieced-together wool panels create a one-of-a-kind skirt that mixes both colors and various patterns. Because the bottom makes such a statement I kept the top basic. Even though there is no burgundy in the skirt, the solid sweater still works because of the color-blocking concept; the same goes for the over-the-knee lavender stockings. I stayed simple with the accessories as well with only a single jade pendant that pulls the rich color from within the skirt.
What do you think of this all-wool ensemble?
