Runway Report: Anna Sui Spring 2013 Collection

Anna Sui is known for her eccentric fashion sense and her Spring 2013 runway preview was exactly that. This collection stemmed from Sui’s early inspiration of the late Mirielle Cervenka, whose blend of Victoriana and ripped-and-torn elements was effortless. Model Karlie Kloss opened with a zippered brocade jumpsuit setting the tone for the show. Sui’s typical punk aesthetic was a little less significant while mixed with vintage romantic elements within the collection, but none-the-less her personal style was still apparent.

Elements that stood out from the show:

  • Brocade
  • Vintage Lace
  • Tribal-inspired Prints
  • Shades of Blue
  • Mixing Textures
  • Playing with Patterns
